Kelly has spent a lifetime building her list of not-so-secret ingredients and creating menus that measure equal parts quality and value. As a result, she comes to the table with not just twenty+ years of experience working in the food and beverage industry, but also her professional baking credentials from Vancouver Island University, a membership with the BC Farmers' Market Association and a pantry full of tips and tricks honed in a wide variety of kitchens, from low-key cafés and delis to high-end restaurants and backcountry lodges. With a dash of sugar, a pinch of spice, and an entrepreneurial spirit to taste, Kelly Roberts is the full meal deal!
Originally from Edmonton Alberta, Kelly made her way to BC in 1994. She lived and worked in Whistler for fifteen years, found herself a mountain man, and together they made the move to Revelstoke in 2008 to be part of opening the new ski hill and resort at RMR.
For over twenty years, Kelly has been making a career out of cooking up ways to bring her passion for high-quality, healthy food to the masses. From serving in restaurants, cafés and delis, to working as a pastry chef in a remote heliski lodge and collaborating with adventure tourism operators to offer five-star catering menus, she has developed a real taste for the fuel that feeds adrenaline junkies, executive clients and casual diners alike.
